Sparkle for the road & skies.

I’m in love with my Deux Lux sequin duffle bag. I got it on sale in ivory (shown here) and grey. ($50 each – 50% off from retail. That’s a bargain for a Deux Lux duffle!)

It’s both ginormous and glamorous – the stares I’ve gotten have been epic. ;) The interior is lined in turquoise silk and is just luxurious looking as the exterior.

I’ll post more complete pictures soon but I just wanted to share a sneak peak with y’all so if you’re interested you can catch it before it’s gone!

Where to buy:

Deux Lux Sequin Weekender in Black

Deux Lux Felix Weekender in Peach (thIs is an Oprah favorite!)

I can’t wait to meet Yu.

Well hi thereeee! :)

Who else is getting ready to watch Yu Darvish’s introduction in Arlington? Yes, I’m the geek that is.

Because I can’t embed the live stream to the press conference, here’s the official MLB.com link.

Here’s a shot of him at the airport in Tokyo before he boarded his flight:

Here’s a shot of all the media outside the Ballpark in Arlington waiting for the man of the hour:

Hello! Again. & a few notes on the NBA.

I have no business blogging now with so much schoolwork due in the next two weeks, but if I don’t write something I actually care about right now I may lose the few marbles I have left in my brain.

Anyhow…

The NBA is back on! Can I get a “Hallelujah!”? I’m not one for basketball – with the exception of Duke & Kentucky & my Spurs & Mavs (Now that I read that, I suppose I am one for basketball…) – but I couldn’t help but cheer when I heard the NBA is back starting Christmas Day. What a gift to the American public, right? Thank you, God, the Three Wisemen, Baby Jesus…

Blake Griffin went all old school & emotional when he found out he'd have a job again (Blake Griffin).

While I don’t keep up with it as devotedly as I do the MLB or NFL, I can’t imagine not having a vested interest in a sport come that awful time after the SuperBowl & before Spring Training starts for the coming MLB season. I know nothing (Okay, not entirely true, but generally correct.) about hockey. I’m cold-natured, so why would I follow something that the thought of would make me perpetually freezing? No dice.

I’m not sure what the respective millionaires & billionaires gave up to give fans a 66 game season but I’d surmise that even casual fans would take anything at this point. We’re easy & gullible like that at times.

I sure was hoping the Mavericks would be champions for two seasons, though… Then again, I’m sure Dirk & Co. are ready to repeat.
